What are we looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with at least 3 years' experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of the company, including processing

invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.

· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, and financial statements, to ensure

the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

· Manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting, monitoring, and ensuring sufficient funds are available

to meet financial obligations.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns,

and keeping up to date with changes in tax laws.

· Collaborate with the CFO and other teams across the organization to develop and maintain the annual budget

and forecasting process, ensuring that financial targets are met.

· Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making, including the preparation of

financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.

· Assist with the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting

standards and regulations.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new procedures to increase efficiency and

accuracy in financial operations.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

· At least 3 years of relevant experience.

· Experience in the maritime industry will be considered an advantage.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.
