Power and Datacenters Engineer needed for a well-established Telecommunications provider in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong organizational skills. Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the electricity/power market in Cyprus and keep management informed of developments and regulations.
  • Assist in defining a long-term power savings strategy and oversee cost savings through green energy projects.
  • Plan and monitor green energy projects and company policies.
  • Budget operational expenditure concerning power consumption and maintain records of power consumption and costs.
  • Collect and approve charges from EAC and other alternative power suppliers.
  • Plan power requirements for telecoms nodes and data centres.
  • Produce performance reports of data centres and suggest cost optimisation methodologies.
  • Monitor external contractors and liaise with internal stakeholders on power issues.
  • Process and approve EAC meter sites bills for payment.
Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Capacity for independent decision-making, multitasking, and flexibility.
  • Proficiency in Greek and English languages.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, honesty, and reliability.
  • Proactive and self-initiating work approach.
