Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant at Ligion Trading Limited in Paphos, Cyprus. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for financial statements, using accounting software, handling bookkeeping tasks, and supporting finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and manage financial records
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Utilize accounting software to input, track, and report financial data
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Assist with audits and provide the necessary documentation
- Manage invoices, expense reports, and payroll processing
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills
- Proficiency in Accounting Software
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance Principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good command of Greek and English; additional languages are an advantage
