We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Nicosia, offering an attractive remuneration package of around €45,000 per year.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's systems infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and supporting workstations, servers, operating systems, application software, automation tools, virtualization, and storage systems.
  • Preparing and implementing configuration changes and upgrades to systems to support new projects, meet compliance requirements, and replace aging technology.
  • Monitoring systems, performing preventive maintenance, and detecting and fixing defects.
  • Applying new versions and patches and mitigating system vulnerabilities.
  • Performing capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Implementing and maintaining the systems backup and redundancy strategies.
  • Configuring and maintaining the systems in accordance with our company's security and compliance requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Providing support and assistance to users and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or professional certifications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
  • Windows and Linux operating systems expertise.
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory, Exchange Server, Office 365, VMWARE Virtualisation infrastructure, storage systems, antivirus and backup systems, monitoring, management, and automation tools.
