Senior Financial Analyst

The Role:

As we build our existing lines of business and expand into new areas, this role will play a key part in supporting decision-making through insightful financial analysis, daily and monthly reporting. The role involves collaboration with various department managers and supporting them in budgeting/re-forecasting processes. We need someone to help manage the financial performance of different business units ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily financial performance reports.
• Monthly Management Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate monthly management information (MI) reports with variance analysis, KPIs, and commentary.
• Budgeting & Re-Forecasting: Prepare annual operating budgets and periodic re-forecasts, collaborating with department heads to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions including trend analysis and scenario modeling.
• Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Leverage accounting & reporting tools to streamline reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and data integrity to streamline FP&A processes and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis ideally in a financial services or forex trading environment.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, charts)
• Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) and budgeting tools (e.g., Datarails) would be an advantage.
• Experience working with financial dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
