Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (Cyprus or Jordan)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Cyprus or Amman. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in empowering data-driven decision-making across the organization by developing and maintaining insightful, reliable, and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring consistency, performance, and usability;
  • Transforming complex datasets into intuitive and visually engaging insights that support business decisions;
  • Working closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and providing actionable recommendations;
  • Championing data literacy and promoting a data-driven mindset through training sessions and workshops for business users;
  • Leading the initiative to create and maintain a business data catalogue, ensuring consistent definitions and metrics;
  • Collaborating with data engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and performance;
  • Translating business needs into analytical solutions that have measurable impact;
  • SUPPORTING DATA GOVERNANCE PRACTICES, ENSURING COMPLIANCE AND DATA INTEGRITY ACROSS REPORTS;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Analytics;
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst;
  • Proven expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design;
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices for storytelling with data;
  • Working knowledge of SQL sufficient for querying and manipulating data;
  • Experience driving self-service analytics adoption through coaching, documentation, and templating;
  • Demonstrated success in implementing a data culture, including leading training sessions for non-technical users;
  • Experience in Forex industry is a strong plus;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts in a simple, engaging manner;
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills;
