About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior PHP Developer to join our team at Emerald Zebra, a leading fintech company in Limassol. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust software applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and turn them into functional software solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from research and design to testing and deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members and participating in ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Experience with PHP MVC frameworks, such as Symfony or Laravel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in algorithms and data structures.
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with GIT and experience working in a continuous integration environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like PHP Unit.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: 2000 to 2500 Gross per month.
  • Flexible working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 to 17:30 P.M, Friday 8:00 to 14:00.
  • Possibility of hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days remotely) after the first few months.
