Job Title: Financial Controller - Leader of Financial Operations

Remuneration: €4500-€6000 gross/month + quarterly bonuses, based on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations for a group of companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and providing monthly financial reports as needed.

You will lead our financial planning process, including annual budgeting, and work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to prepare financial statements in line with IFRS. Additionally, you will ensure that our company complies with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and other mandatory submissions.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee standalone and consolidated financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Lead financial planning, including annual budgeting, and provide monthly financial reports as needed.
  • Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Maintain communication with banks and other key service providers.
  • Provide guidance and support on payroll matters as needed.
  • Implement a new ERP system, offering training and support to team members.
  • Develop and enforce internal accounting procedures, ensuring all team members are well-informed and up-to-date.
  • Prepare various ad-hoc management reports to support decision-making.
  • Assist with tax planning and group restructuring initiatives.
Requirements
  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in FX industry is Must.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or similar role.
  • Previous experience at a Big Four firm and in the FinTech industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with CySEC reporting is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing a team.
