About the Role As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, supporting, and optimizing cloud-based systems. You will ensure high availability, strong security, and exceptional performance across production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business goals and continuously improve system reliability and scalability. Key Responsibilities Maintain, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure across multiple environments. Perform deployments, updates, and configuration changes following best practices. Troubleshoot issues related to cloud systems, networking, virtualization, and security. Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity processes. Implement automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual operations. Ensure compliance with security requirements and contribute to risk mitigation efforts. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and IT teams to support smooth delivery workflows. Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and operational runbooks. Requirements Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator or similar systems/infrastructure role. Strong background with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, networking, and virtualization. Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track and optimize system performance. Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). Knowledge of security concepts including firewalls, IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Experience with containerization, CI/CD environments, or Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.
