VP of Sales CFD Vertical
Location: Remote - Must be based in Cyprus
Salary: 75,000 to 90,000 euro gross annually (depending on experience)
Commission: Uncapped commission structure
Reporting to: Head of Sales
Emerald Zebra are working with a fast-growing provider of robust banking infrastructure. Their platform enables businesses to launch and scale payment and banking services quickly via one powerful API, serving clients across digital assets, payments, trading, and beyond.
As VP of Sales, you'll play a key role in driving expansion in the CFD vertical, leading strategic sales efforts, identifying high-value clients, and shaping complex, high-impact solutions. This is a senior role with strong commercial influence, ideal for someone with a deep network and proven success in payments, CFD, FX, or crypto sectors.

How will you add value?
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to establish a strong local presence and drive regional growth
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key local partners, clients, and stakeholders
- Identify market opportunities and tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of the local customer base
- Identify high-potential clients and prospects and cultivate a robust pipeline across digital assets verticals
- Craft & deliver comprehensive presentations and proposals for potential clients
- Being part of a dynamic new business team supported by every other function within the business
- Pitching solutions to prospective clients and co-building solutions with the client to fulfil their needed
- Managing the sales process through to contract signing including contract and commercial negotiations
- Executing product and technical conversations with the clients co- ordinated with product and development teams
- Aligning delivery with product and engineering function to ensure appropriate resource is allocated to each client and influence the roadmap
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- You understand the BAAS space and are able to identify the needs of Embedded Finance
- Minimum of 10 years within the payments/BAAS/Modern Treasury/ FX
- Experience of selling to clients' verticals such as CFD verticals is a must
- Minimum of 15 years+ sales/business development experience
- Strong local network within the crypto vertical
- Proven track record of successful full sales cycle execution and delivering against revenue targets
- Experience of successfully managing complex sales engagements with high value customers
- Comprehensive network of industry contacts
- In-depth understanding of the payments ecosystem, trends and innovative payments solutions
- Ability to create technical solutions mapping and implementation approach for a broad range of client needs
- A passion for the industry and an ongoing interest in the development of the industry
