Area Manager

The Area Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of the Company's own betting stores within Nicosia, ensuring their smooth operation and profitability.

Your role:

  • Oversees the operation of the stores and ensures their smooth and efficient operation
  • Monitors the profitability of the stores and suggests/takes appropriate actions to increase profitability, when needed
  • Ensures all stores have the technology and equipment needed to operate effectively (i.e., computers, cash registers, TVs etc.)
  • Responsible for the sourcing, recruitment, training, and management of store employees
  • Prepares shift schedules following the Company's guidelines to ensure a fair and non-discriminatory approach, as well as the smooth running of the store
  • Monitors and reviews employee performance and provides feedback for improvement
  • Ensures the provision of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction without exposing the company to risk
  • Handles difficult situations with clients and escalated customer complaints effectively and on a timely manner
  • Has an excellent knowledge of his/her regional area of responsibility and keeps up to date with developments that affect the business
  • Identifies and suggests to the Head of Retail areas/locations which could be utilized for the expansion of the Company's operations, considering all necessary parameters (location, local customer base, competition etc.)

What profile we are looking for:

  • BSc Degree will be considered an advantage
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a supervisory position in the retail industry, with at least 4 of them in operational management roles (i.e.; area manager, store manager etc.).
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • High Integrity
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving skills
  • Strong People Management skills
  • Good knowledge of NBA policies and procedures (will be considered an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of the local market
