Role Overview
:

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the commercial strategy for our Group of Hotels and Resorts, driving revenue growth across rooms, F&B outlets, events, and leisure services. This role combines strategic sales leadership with innovative marketing initiatives, ensuring our properties are positioned as market leaders while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings proven senior leadership experience in hospitality sales and marketing, with strong expertise in hotel distribution channels, brand positioning, and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities
:

· Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

o Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue across all hotel departments.

o Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and other partners.

o Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on both local and international markets.

o Oversee pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies in collaboration with Revenue Management.

o Set and monitor sales targets for the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

o Participate in site inspections and client meetings, showcasing Group of Hotels and Resorts facilities and services.

o Draft and review contracts in collaboration with the Legal Department to ensure compliance and accuracy.

· Marketing & Brand Development

o Define and protect the brand identity of the Group of Hotels and Resorts, ensuring consistent positioning across all properties.

o Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, influencer partnerships, and traditional channels.

o Drive brand awareness, loyalty, and guest engagement through storytelling and customer-centric campaigns.

o Ensure marketing initiatives align with sales objectives to optimize occupancy, ADR and profitability.

· Digital Strategy & Insights

o Oversee digital marketing including SEO, SEM, paid media, content marketing, CRM, and loyalty programs.

o Manage online reputation and guest feedback platforms to support brand credibility.

o Track and analyze KPIs across sales and marketing channels, providing actionable insights to improve performance.

· Collaboration & Leadership

o Partner with Hotel General Managers and operational teams to ensure commercial strategies align with guest experience.

o Lead, coach, and inspire a cross-functional Sales & Marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and excellence.

o Manage external agencies, vendors, and media partners to deliver high-quality campaigns and initiatives.

o Represent the hotels at industry events, international trade shows, and networking opportunities.

o Organize and Conduct familiarization trips (FAM trips) and client presentations.

· Financial & Strategic Responsibility

o Manage the Sales & Marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across properties.

o Report regularly to senior leadership on revenue performance, marketing ROI, and market positioning.

o Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

Requirements
:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing or related field

Master's degree or MBA will be considered an advantage.

Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing within luxury hotels or resorts, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record in driving hotel revenue growth and brand positioning.

Strong knowledge of hotel distribution channels, booking engines, OTAs, and global sales networks.

Experience with both luxury and lifestyle brands is a strong advantage.

Experience in the UK, Germany, CIS, GCC luxury travel markets is preferred.

Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and reporting ROI.

Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal in English. Greek and any other languages will be considered an advantage.

Excellent storytelling, and presentation abilities.

Highly organized, adaptable, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Strong ability to work as part of a team across the organisation.

Flexible to travel internationally when required.
