The Role

As the R&D Manager you will lead the development of the company's online casino platform. You will oversee a team of 10-15 members, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable and high-performing solutions tailored for B2B clients. Your expertise in building and managing casino platforms will be key in shaping the technological backbone of the company's business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and mentor a cross-functional team of 10-15 developers (frontend, backend, QA, project managers).
  • Oversee the end-to-end development of the casino platform, from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure platform compliance with industry standards and regulations for online gaming.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture, coding, and testing.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to enhance platform functionality and performance.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, team performance evaluations, and skill development initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of B2B client needs in the iGaming industry and adapt solutions accordingly.

Your Profile

You are a results-driven leader with a passion for cutting-edge technology in the iGaming industry and a proven history in building world-class online casino platforms. You are a highly experienced professional with a proven track record of 7+ years in developing online casino platforms, particularly within B2B markets. You have at least 3+ years of leadership experience, managing cross-functional development teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and project execution. A strong technical background is essential, with in-depth knowledge of both frontend and backend technologies, enabling you to drive innovation, optimize performance, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (7+ years) in developing online casino platforms, particularly for B2B markets.
  • At least 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional development teams of similar size.
  • Strong understanding of frontend and backend technologies, including but not limited to:

- Angular or similar frameworks
- Relation DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL), MongoDB, Redis, Elastic search
- AWS
- DevOps practices - CI/CD, orchestration, monitoring, performance, etc.

  • Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian and proficiency in English is mandatory
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance requirements in key markets
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
