Job Opening: Junior Health & Safety Officer

Wo.Box Consulting
, on behalf of our client, is seeking a
Junior Health & Safety Officer to support operations in Limassol and Larnaca
, while also managing the company's ISO 45001 Certified Health & Safety Management System from the office. This dual role is ideal for someone who can combine on-site safety supervision with risk management and system implementation in the office.

Key Responsibilities


• Supervise on-site activities and ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.


• Conduct inspections, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident investigations.


• Maintain and improve the ISO 45001 system (documentation, procedures, internal audits).


• Plan and deliver employee training and safety briefings.


• Collaborate with management on corrective actions and monitor effectiveness.


• Liaise with authorities and external inspectors.


• Prepare and report safety performance indicators.

Qualifications


• University degree/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.


• 1–3 years of experience in H&S (preferably in construction, industrial sites, ports, or similar environments).


• Hands-on experience with ISO 45001 or integrated risk management systems (Internal Auditor certification is an advantage).


• Strong knowledge of Cyprus Health & Safety legislation.


• NEBOSH certification or equivalent (130-hour H&S training is considered an advantage).


• Excellent communication and leadership skills.


• Excellent command of Greek and good command of English.


• Ability to work both on site and in an office environment.


• Strong computer literacy.


• Valid driving licence.
