We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer.

Role responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain ETL/ELT and streaming pipelines
  • Writing efficient, reusable, reliable, and scalable code
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT, streaming) to support analytics, business needs, machine learning, and team services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data workflows for efficiency and availability.
  • Review and improve the overall data services architecture
    Contribute to system architecture and design to enhance data infrastructure
  • Support and refactor legacy code
  • Enhance and optimise existing code for scalability and efficiency.
  • Implement security and data protection solutions
  • Ensure data security, governance, and compliance
  • Maintain and develop data quality processes 
  • Maintain and develop data quality processes through validation, monitoring, and automated testing.

Role qualifications:

  • Experience of 3+ years in a similar role 
  • 2+ commercial projects under the belt
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge and work experience with:
    Core:
    • Core Python
    • SQL
    • DWH
    • GIT
    • DBT
