Our Monetization team is looking for an
Economy / Balance Designer

— an expert who blends the art of game economy design with the science of pricing and revenue optimization. If you have a background in managing complex systems, mathematical modeling, and balancing game economies, we would love to hear from you

In this role, you will optimize our platform's systems for both engagement and profitability, creating new mechanics and improving existing ones to drive sustainable growth. You'll work closely with the Product and Marketing teams, leveraging your expertise in game analytics and predictive

modeling

to build a stable and scalable economy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Balance Economic Systems:

Refine gamification mechanics to align user incentives with

business

objectives.
- Manage Rewards:

Create and balance reward systems (taps) with monetization ones (sinks) to ensure the economy remains engaging and sustainable.
- Estimate Financial Impact:

Develop models and simulations to analyze the effects of changes on trading volume, ARPU, margins, and ROI.
- Design User Progression:

Collaborate with Product on progression systems to boost retention while supporting

profitability

goals.
- Review Campaigns:

Partner with Marketing to improve acquisition and activation efforts, aligning user appeal with risk management.
- Adjust Pricing:

Run experiments to measure price change effects on customer behavior and capture revenue opportunities.
- Monitor and Optimize:

Continuously track financial performance, fine-tuning pricing and rewards to maximize LTV.
- Cooperate:

Exchange findings with Monetization Quant Analysts and Data Analysts for long-term economic projections.

REQUIRED

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience in designing game economies, pricing strategies, and reward systems.
  • Strong skills in building predictive models and performing simulations.
  • Knowledge of SQL as well as Python or R for economic analysis.
  • Upper-intermediate English and Russian.

DESIRED

  • Experience as a game economist, adjusting pricing and offers based on user behavior.
  • Understanding incentives and behavioral economics in real-money environments.
  • Background in gamified monetization (midcore gaming, igaming, betting, loyalty).
  • Familiarity with financial products, exchanges, derivatives, or cryptocurrencies.
  • Ability to explore and apply relevant academic concepts in a work context.
  • Passion for using game economy design principles in a fintech product.
