Segédfelszolgáló/Assistant Waiter

We are looking for permanent staff to work in a newly opening classy retaurant & bar at Limassol's newly built landmark, The Icon

Your main responsibilities:
1)     To set up all restaurant and lounge tables according to standards.
To smoothly carry out the assigned tasks and duties, by actively participating in the service and be vigilantly attentive to the details, food & beverage quality standards.
3)     To sense and anticipate guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction.
4)     To strive for guest satisfaction.
To have a thorough knowledge of products, brands, wine labels served in the outlets, special 'items to sell' and confidently describe them to the guests.
To be able to recommend beverages to match menu items and guest preferences and serve these according to the standards, applying upselling skills.
7)     To deliver and serve drinks and food in a courteous manner.
8)     To clear and re-set tables.
9)     To keep your station well organized, clean and neat.
10)   To polish all equipment and re-arrange back office to its standards.

Requirements
1)     Holder of EU passport, citizen of the EU
Graduate of a secondary school, preferably of hospitality specialized in table service. Graduate of a tertiary school of Hotel Management or Hotel and Catering School is an advantage
Two years or  seasons of experience in similar  work environment, preferably with Mediterranean background
4)     Knowledge, experience in a similar position of luxury hotel service is an advantage
5)     Must speak and read English well. Greek, Russian and other languages are considered an advantage

2)     Good self-organizational skills, has common sense and quickly responds to directions
3)     Good communication skills
4)     Pleasant and friendly personality, approachable, fair and polite

What we offer:

• 12 month/permanent contract
• 13th salary in full in December
• Spring bonus at Orthodox Easter in the first year 10% of the monthly gross salary, after 3 years of employment 20%, after 5 years 50%
• 5.5 working days per week
• 9.5 hours per day, including 1 hour break
• 21 days annual leave (any untaken days off will contribute to the annual balance, including public holidays), increasing to 24 after 3 years of employment and to 26 after 5 years

• Salary: 1.300€/month gross+TIP

Accommodation:
Our company will offer a relocation assistance, that consists of airport transfer by one of our senior staff members and arranged accommodation.
We'll be renting a complete block of apartments or studios, which will be sublet to the employees for a monthly fee of €500 plus utilities (water, electricity, waste) paid directly by the employee (average monthly cost of these around €70). The €500 will be deducted directly from the monthly salaries.
We do understand these are high cost rentals, however some of the cheapest options currently available in Limassol, we manage to get such 'low' price due to the organized rent.
In exchange we guarantee brand-new, high quality stays, which are fully furnished and equipped with all appliances in the kitchen and living room, including latest technology water pressure and heating system, central heating, AC units, etc., clearly speaking; above the average domestically available quality. The block is also located in a central area of the city with direct access to real public transportation.
