Fiduciary Accountant

Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for a
Fiduciary Accountant
(Temporary - maternity cover )
role based in the
Limassol Cyprus
office on a full time basis with potential for permanent extension .

We will count on you to:

• Oversee insurers, brokers, commissions, allocations, and movements in the accounting system.
• Follow up with underwriters and brokers regarding account positions.
• Reconcile statements of accounts from underwriters and brokers.
• Prepare payments in the accounting system and banking platform.
• Reconcile sub-systems with the General Ledger and manage bank reconciliations.
• Prepare revenue accruals and calculate bad debts.
• Provide support during the statutory audit.

What you need to have:

• Proven experience in fiduciary management, specifically in accounts payable and receivable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and banking platforms.
• Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with underwriters and brokers.

• Experience working with statutory audits.
• Experience in analysis and reconciliation of accounts receivables and payables
• Previous experience in a similar role within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
