What begins as a casual farming experience gradually evolves into a rich, multi-layered adventure. Players discover increasing depth through travel, story-driven quests, strategic battles, engaging mini-games, competitive events, and much more—transforming the game into a captivating midcore adventure with sophisticated mechanics.

Animations have always been essential in crafting the enchanting world of Taonga. Our marketing videos are no exception, bringing the island's charm to life and captivating players around the globe.

We're seeking a highly experienced and driven 2D Motion Designer Lead to take the charge in creating extraordinary videos that capture the spirit of Taonga. This role demands strong leadership, creative vision, and proactive execution in guiding and managing a team of animators to consistently deliver standout content.

Responsibilities

1. Leading the team and be responsible for changes and improvements of the processes, prototyping new tools and workflows for the animation department

2. Creating high-quality 2D animations, including character animation and sound design for game advertising

3. Giving feedback and suggestions to subordinates on their work

4. Creating and supervising internal libraries and animation assets

5. Following design guidelines, asset naming conventions, and other technical constraints

6. Working with artists and animators to execute projects on time

7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in 2D design, tools and technologies.

Requirements

1. Has a genuine passion for playing and developing games

2. Has 4+ years of relevant experience of minimum 4 years in 2D design, animation, game marketing

3. Has minimum 2 years of experience leading a team

4. Professional knowledge of Spine and Adobe apps (primarily After Effects, Photoshop, Animate, Audition) and plug ins

5. Professional knowledge of character animation, sound design, VFX, directing, cinematography, editing

6. English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level.

Located in a historic three-story building in the heart of the city, our office offers a fresh, welcoming atmosphere – the perfect environment to feel inspired while staying focused and productive.

How you'll get there

One thing our team members agree on is that relocation was a breeze. Volka handles all the paperwork to bring you to Cyprus and all the legwork to settle you here. We help with opening the bank account, obtaining permits for you and your family and take over other bureaucratic matters that are an annoying necessity of moving to a new country. For you it will be like booking a vacation with a tourist agency. Except, you know, you'll have to work here.
