Job Reference: Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process the bookkeeping of day to day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
  • Maintain a register for the Fixed Assets.
  • Ensure proper depreciation calculations and asset valuation.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements in cooperation with the CFO.
  • Provide detail analysis of Expenses and analysis of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and payroll expenses.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies in cooperation with the CFO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferable to have at least 1 year experience in the fintech industry.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
