We are now looking for a Legal Counsel (Real Estate) to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of real estate and commercial transactions, providing high-level legal advice to support our property and investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and manage a wide range of real estate and commercial transactions.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on real estate management, tax planning, and asset structuring.
  • Advise on corporate structuring for real estate investments.
  • Collaborate with internal business teams, agents, and external counsel to ensure smooth deal execution and resolve legal or regulatory challenges.
  • Review and advise on property financing arrangements, security documentation, and related commercial terms.
  • Conduct legal research and liaise with authorities, notaries, and regulatory bodies to ensure proper handling of documentation and permits.

Requirements

  • Law degree, preferably from a common law jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a commercial or real estate practice or corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in property investment, development, or asset management sectors (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of real estate, corporate, and commercial law, with excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Familiarity with data protection and privacy laws relevant to real estate transactions.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
