Officer
to join our team.

Your role at HFM:
The Business Continuity Officer, part of the IT GRC team, is responsible for maintaining, updating, and coordinating the organization's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities. This includes supporting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), ensuring recovery strategies align with business needs, coordinating continuity and recovery testing, and strengthening organizational resilience. The Officer also supports broader IT GRC tasks assigned by the Team Leader, such as governance documentation, policy updates, audit preparation, and compliance coordination. Working closely with internal teams, the Officer ensures continuity and recovery plans remain effective, accurate, and well understood across the organization.

  • Maintain and continuously update the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework and all related documentation.
  • Conduct and update the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for all critical functions.
  • Coordinate the creation, execution, and evaluation of BCP and DRP testing scenarios with IT and business teams.
  • Ensure recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are aligned with business requirements and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to manage continuity and recovery procedures during disruptive events.
  • Track and report on the results of continuity, recovery, and resilience testing activities, including corrective actions and follow-up.
  • Support regulatory, internal, and external audit requests specifically related to business continuity and resilience activities.
  • Provide awareness and training sessions to staff on continuity and disaster recovery responsibilities and processes.
  • Participate in annual audits related to business continuity by providing required documentation and clarifications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's continuity, resilience, and recovery processes.
  • Perform additional IT GRC tasks assigned by the Team Leader, such as supporting policy updates, compliance support, or governance documentation, as needed.

Requirements

  • BSc in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Resilience.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity frameworks such as ISO 22301 or DORA.
  • Experience with business continuity planning, disaster recovery processes, and crisis management practices.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
  • Resumes submitted must be in English.
