About our game

Taonga: the Island Farm is an immersive exploration and adventure game set on a colorful tropical archipelago.

What begins as a casual farming experience gradually evolves into a rich, multi-layered adventure. Players discover increasing depth through travel, story-driven quests, strategic battles, engaging mini-games, competitive events, and much more—transforming the game into a captivating midcore adventure with sophisticated mechanics.

Taonga was launched as a browser game in 2016 and became an immediate success, beloved by players worldwide. With communities across different platforms, we entertain, delight and help our players to enjoy Taonga to the fullest.

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer to help us uphold the quality and stability of Taonga at every step.

Responsibilities

  1. Manual testing of the mobile game, browser game, and supporting services

  2. Reproducing, investigating, and documenting bugs

  3. Monitoring game stability and performance via Grafana and other tools

  4. Maintaining test data.

Our ideal candidate

  • Has at least 1 year of experience in a QA role, including 6+ months working on a game project

  • Has English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level or higher

  • Is passionate about games and has extensive gaming experience

  • Is eager to learn and grow professionally, including through company-funded training courses

We work on-site in a modern business building in Limassol. We like a lot of space and a lot of air, and we built our office to create a calm and comfortable environment, conductive to the state of flow.

How you'll get there

One thing our team members agree on is that relocation was a breeze. Volka handles all the paperwork to bring you to Cyprus and all the legwork to settle you here. We help with opening the bank account, obtaining permits for you and your family and take over other bureaucratic matters that are an annoying necessity of moving to a new country. For you it will be like booking a vacation with a tourist agency. Except, you know, you'll have to work here.
