As a DA controller, you will ensure that Agents, who are responsible for the cost at the port calls, have invoiced us correctly and according to our agreements and port tariffs.

You will also rebill costs to third parties such as Owners and Charterers.

You will be at the heart of port operations, working closely with Agents, Charterers, the DA Desk, Operators, Charterers and Hire Controllers. Expect an efficient environment and the opportunity to enhance your financial skills in a global setting.

The tasks that await you

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling several ports based on specific regions and their expenses.
  • Reviewing and approving port disbursements via our DA desk system.
  • Question final invoices if not in line with the agreements or the proforma invoices.
  • Ensure invoices are received on time, before time bars.
  • Dig into charter parties to find possible clauses that will allow us to claim amounts from Charterers.
  • Ensure P&L accuracy after voyage completion.

Your core qualifications
