The Role

We are looking for an experienced 
Head of Finance
 to oversee all financial activities of the company and ensure optimal use of capital and resources. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will set financial strategy, manage budgeting and forecasting, and provide data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and growth. This is an on‑premise role at our Limassol office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Forecasting: Develop and maintain forecasting models and multi‑year budgets; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial projections.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Review and approve departmental budgets, lead cost–benefit analyses, and recommend cost‑efficient initiatives.
  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments on investments and ensure all accounting practices, audits and internal controls comply with financial regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Cash Flow & Resource Management: Oversee cash flow, allocate resources effectively, and manage relationships with banks, investors and payment partners.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement, tax withholdings, social security contributions, and employee benefits administration.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a finance team; work closely with other departments - legal, compliance, business development and operations—to align financial planning with company goals.
  • Reporting & Advisory: Provide timely financial reports to the founders and board; advise on funding options and capital structure
  • Confidentiality & Data Security: Develop secure procedures to protect confidential financial information

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Head of Finance, Finance Director or similar role in fintech, payments, or a regulated industry.
  • Deep understanding of cash‑flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping
  • Hands‑on experience with budgeting, forecasting and risk management; proficiency in accounting software and data analysis models
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • Leadership abilities and experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams
