Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Designer located in Limassol. The Product Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly product designs, conducting user research, and applying design thinking principles to solve user problems. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing results.

What You'll Do:

  • Design System Development:
     Create and maintain a scalable, reusable design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints of the platform.
  • Merchant Backoffice Design:
     Design intuitive, high-performing dashboards and interfaces for merchants, focusing on usability, accessibility, and efficiency.
  • Payment Page Design:
     Develop and optimize the user experience for payment flows, including multi-step checkout processes, error handling, and mobile-first interactions.
  • End-to-End Product Design:
     Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate product requirements into user-centered designs.
  • Prototyping & Testing:
     Build prototypes, conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate to deliver polished, functional designs.
  • UX Research:
     Analyze user behavior, gather insights, and apply data-driven design decisions to improve product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
     Work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure design integrity from concept to implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement:
     Keep up with design trends, payment UX patterns, and industry standards to ensure our platform remains competitive and user-friendly.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:
     3+ years as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, preferably in fintech, payments, or SaaS.
  • Design System Expertise:
     Proven experience creating and maintaining scalable design systems.
  • Strong UX/UI Skills:
     Hands-on experience designing dashboards, web applications, and payment flows.
  • Prototyping & Tools:
     Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools. Experience creating interactive prototypes is a plus.
  • User-Centered Mindset:
     Ability to empathize with users, conduct usability testing, and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Collaboration Skills:
     Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail:
     Strong visual design skills and an eye for pixel-perfect execution.
  • Analytical Thinking:
     Ability to use analytics and metrics to inform design decisions and optimize user experience.
  • Adaptability:
     Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative product environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience designing in fintech, payments, or e-commerce environments.
  • Experience in motion design.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
