Kitchen Cleaner

Job Role

Ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational at all times according to the standard operating procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
• Washes utensils and dishes and ensures they are stored appropriately
• Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
• Follow the Grooming Policy and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
• Ensure that a safe and hygienic work environment for all restaurant employees and guests is maintained at all times and report any concerns or faults immediately
• Ensure that you carry out your duties in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels' rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel would be preferred
• Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure

Due to work permit restrictions, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in Cyprus.

Salary: 1.000€/month net
Working hours: 6 days/week, 8 hours/day
Accomodation/meals: provided by employer for free, 3 meals per day on and off duty
