Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Limassol for a CCTV Operator (24/7). The CCTV Operator will be responsible for continuously monitoring, reviewing, and managing CCTV and surveillance systems to ensure safety, assess risks, and assist in security operations. The role entails promptly reporting incidents to the relevant authorities, maintaining logs and documentation, and ensuring all security protocols are adhered to. This position requires working in shifts to ensure round-the-clock surveillance and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Excellent command of English language both written and verbal.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Good understanding of CCTV / Surveillance systems and their operations.

• Good understanding of maritime operations and cargo vessels.

• Proactive, effective solution and problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to observe details, plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.

• Strong capabilities in close monitoring, report compilation, organizing tasks, and efficient record keeping.

• Excellent knowledge and working abilities of Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Proven and adequate work experience.

• Relevant Training and experience in Maritime Security will be considered an advantage.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and surveillance security systems.

• Promptly report any safety, security, or technical matters and create corresponding tickets.

• Efficiently coordinate day-to-day tasks, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and effective manner, following the instructions of the Senior Operator.

• Conduct a comprehensive and thorough handover prior to the commencement of each shift.

• Assist in training new and existing personnel, following the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.

• Provide assistance and support to the department as directed by the Operations Supervisor.

• Assist in investigations as required.

• Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the prescribed actions to be taken in the event of an incident, following the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
