Axia-Search is working with an established Audit and Finance Specialist. The clients provides a holistic range of audit, tax, accounting, legal, consulting and financial advisory services to international companies.

The client is looking for recent graduates to join their compliance team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the company meets all
Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
and
regulatory compliance
obligations in line with CySEC, EU, and local regulatory frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career compliance professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Salary: €14,000 - €15,000 per annum + benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct
    customer due diligence (CDD)
    and
    enhanced due diligence (EDD)
    on new and existing clients.
  • Monitor and review transactions for potential
    suspicious activity
    in line with AML regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of
    regulatory reports
    (e.g., STR/SAR filings, risk assessments).
  • Support the
    implementation and maintenance
    of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Participate in
    periodic compliance reviews
    and
    internal audits
    .
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the
    compliance monitoring plan
    .
  • Help train and raise awareness among staff regarding
    AML/CFT obligations
    and
    regulatory changes
    .
  • Liaise with internal departments (Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure compliance with local and EU laws.
  • Stay up to date on
    regulatory developments
    ,
    Sanctions lists
    , and
    industry best practices
    .

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • 0 – 1 years of experience in a
    Compliance
    ,
    AML
    , or
    Risk
    role within the financial services or fintech sector.
