Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Risk & Trading Analyst located in Limassol, Cyprus. The Risk & Trading Analyst is responsible for overseeing trading activities while ensuring robust risk management practices are in place. This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with deep market knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage risk across multiple asset classes or trading desks. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing trading performance while safeguarding the company from financial, operational, and market risks.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Management
:


• Develop and execute trading strategies aligned with the company's trading strategies.


• Monitor market trends, news, and data to identify trading risks.


• Manage trading positions and ensure compliance with internal limits and external

regulations.


• Collaborate with team members to refine trading & hedging models.


• Maintain relationships with brokers, exchanges, and counterparties.

Risk Management
:


• Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with trading activities, including market,

credit, liquidity, and operational risks.


• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.


• Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and Value-at-Risk (VaR) assessments.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.


• Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.


• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in trading and/or risk management roles.


• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading platforms.


• Proficiency in risk modeling, data analysis, and trading systems (e.g., Bloomberg,

Reuters, Python, Excel).


• Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank) is a plus.
