Architect – Coordination & Management

We are looking for an Architect with minimum 10-12 years of experience to join our team and assist the Senior Design Manager. This role requires strong organizational skills to oversee design coordination, quality control, and execution of multiple high-profile projects.
As part of the Client's representative team, you will play a key role in ensuring design excellence and seamless project execution on large scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Coordination & Review

  • Oversee the design process from concept to construction, including reviewing as-built drawings.
  • Review concept drawings, technical drawings, and design documentation.
  • Coordinate consultant drawings, technical submissions, and design information.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, constructability, and company standards & requirements.

Project & Quality Control

  • Monitor the Main Contractor's work to ensure quality and adherence to design intent, material submissions and other Construction documentation.
  • Oversee and verify contractor submissions for compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify and resolve design issues, clashes, and technical challenges in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the construction team, contractors, specialists, and fit-out consultants/subcontractors.

Meetings & Reporting

  • Attend internal meetings, consultants, and/or contractor meetings and where required provide design input and solutions.
  • Record meeting minutes, track design progress, and follow up on action items.
  • Report on design changes, approvals, and coordination updates to the Senior Design Manager.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Follow company standards, systems, contract preparation, documentation, and filing procedures.
  • Maintain a tracking record of work carried out by consultants, contractors, specialists, and fit-out subcontractors.
  • Prepare & ensure all design documentation is organized, updated, and properly filed.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture.
  • On-site experience.
  • Excellent use of Greek and English language (spoken and written)
  • Manage, guide and lead Project Consultants and Contractors.
  • Experience in design drawings, detailing, coordination, quality control, and consultant management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies and building regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge: AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and Acrobat Reader (Rhino &/or SketchUp an advantage).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects & tasks efficiently and simultaneously, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Must be a member of ETEK and hold Safe Pass Certification.
