We are looking for a
Junior Support Engineer
to join our
Global Support
team, a part of the
Delivery
department. In this role, you will support clients by resolving production issues and assist with Way4 system upgrades to meet International Payment Systems (IPS) mandates.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for client operations using Way4 modules.
  • Troubleshoot and replicate reported issues or bugs.
  • Analyze Way4 core and custom code to identify problems.
  • Log valid issues or enhancements with the R&D team.
  • Deliver timely solutions via workarounds, hotfixes or configuration changes.
  • Install OpenWay software and train clients on site as necessary
  • Ensure service delivery in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Your qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (2.1 or over 6.5/10; MSc is a plus)
  • Recent graduates are welcome; 1-2 years' experience is an advantage
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, effectively, and convincingly
  • A team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues quickly
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Required technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle preferred) and PL/SQL
  • Basic programming experience in Java
  • Familiarity with Unix administration (preferred)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP
