iQ3Solar Limited is a start-up company focused on developing intelligent platforms for PV park Operation and Maintenance (O&M). Our goal is to provide PV system operators with insights into the healthy and optimal operation of their parks. We are located in Nicosia and offer some flexibility for remote work. However, your base must be in the Republic of Cyprus.

Role Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming, and utilizing object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Flexibility for remote work but you need to have physical presence in Cyprus. If you are excited about renewable energy, if you want to play a role in bringing solutions to the market then apply for this position and join our team.

We are also seeking to drive business growth for the developed software. This could be fulfilled from one combined role of software and business development or it could be two separate roles (one for software and one for business development).

This is a hybrid, full‑time role based in Cyprus. The position is contract‑based, ending on 1/5/2026. You will be working on FarmPV, the CODEVELOP-AG-SH-HE/0823/0118 project funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU instrument, through the Research and Innovation Foundation of Cyprus. FarmPV is led by IQ3SOLAR and with partners Mountain Berries Pitsillia, the Cyprus University of Technology, Eletoyia Photovoltaics and Università Politecnica delle Marche from Italy. It aims to create the first of its kind agri-photovoltaic pilot site where land retains both usage for energy production through photovoltaics (PV) and food production through the growth of raspberries and cherries.

The ideal candidate is motivated, analytical, proactive, and eager to grow within a fast‑moving hi tech environment. You will collaborate closely with the founders, product team, and external partners to help shape the commercial strategy of our flagship software.

Minimum Required Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (required).


• Based in Cyprus and able to work in a hybrid setup (required)

Software development skills

  • Software Development skills

  • Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Proficiency in Javascript, TypeScript, Python
  • Familiarity with REST API
  • Experience in software engineering and development
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Business development skills

  • Conduct market research and identify potential customer segments
  • Support go‑to‑market strategy for agrivoltaic management software
  • Prospect and engage with farms, energy companies, and integrators
  • Schedule and participate in client meetings and demos
  • Collect customer requirements and communicate them to the product team
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive products
  • Maintain CRM records and track outreach performance
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and partnership materials
  • Coordinate pilots and early‑stage deployments with clients
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities in Cyprus
