Forex Dealer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated individual to join our dealing team as a Forex Dealer & Trading Platform Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and monitoring trades in the FX market, managing risk, and ensuring smooth operations of trading activities. In addition, this role carries the responsibility of administering and maintaining our trading platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or mid‑level professional with experience in forex dealing who is also comfortable with operational and technical aspects of trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealing and Risk Management

• Execute and monitor client and company FX transactions in real time, ensuring best execution practices.
• Monitor exposure, liquidity, and market risk on a continuous basis.
• Quote, confirm, and book trades in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage hedging strategies in accordance with the company's risk management policies.
• Keep abreast of market conditions, economic data releases, and geopolitical events that could impact trading activities.
• Liaise with liquidity providers to ensure competitive pricing and resolve trading issues promptly.

Trading Platform Administration

• Administer, maintain, and configure trading platforms (e.g., MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker or proprietary systems) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions for clients and internal users.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with IT or third-party providers for escalated problems.
• Apply updates, patches, and new features to trading platforms in collaboration with technology teams.
• Conduct routine audits of platform settings to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to platform activity, order execution, and system performance.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Prepare regular reports on trade activity, risk exposure, and system performance for senior management.
• Assist with regulatory audits and provide required documentation when necessary.

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with the back-office, risk, compliance, and IT teams to address issues and optimize processes.
• Provide support and guidance to customer support teams regarding trading-related inquiries.
• Assist in testing new features, integrations, or products before rollout.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience:
• 1–3 years (junior) or 3–5 years (mid‑level) experience as a Forex Dealer, preferably in a regulated environment.

• Experience with trading platform administration (MT5, cTrader or any other platform) is a MUST.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with MetaTrader or other trading platforms, including back‑office functions.
• Strong understanding of FX instruments, margin trading, and risk management principles.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or scripting languages is a plus.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Ability to perform under pressure in fast‑moving market conditions.
