Working Hours: Flexible (8:00/09:00 AM – 5:00/06:00 PM ) with a 1-hour lunch break

Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, a Licensed Financial Dealer Broker regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (MFSC), we are looking for a Back Office (Onboarding) Officer to join their Limassol support team.

The ideal candidate will handle client verifications, looking into the correct implementation of the KYC procedures, Client KYC monitoring and transaction monitoring while ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

Verification of clients

Request, validate, and approve documents as part of the KYC onboarding process

Ensure the company's KYC and AML procedures are strictly followed

Review screening alerts for Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Sanctions, and Adverse Media

Investigate and respond to AML and transaction monitoring alerts

Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding experience

Assess AML risks of prospective clients using AML Risk Assessment

Verify document authenticity using available software and provided training

Identify and report fraudulent applications and reject those that do not meet compliance criteria

Suggests improvements in the onboarding process where applicable.
