About the Company and Role

We are partnering with a fast-growing product startup (50+ people) building a high-load global platform with a strong creative core. To strengthen the design team, the company is looking for a UI Lead Designer who will set the visual direction, mentor junior designers, and bring bold new projects to life.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus (office).

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of design experience;
  • Strong sense of style, composition, typography, and color;
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in execution;
  • Proven ability to work with design systems, libraries, and style guides;
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles, responsive design, Mobile First, Design Thinking;
  • Experience with both product and marketing-focused design;
  • Proficiency in Figma, image editing, and retouching tools;
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive layout.

Nice to have Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the gaming industry;
  • Strong portfolio showcasing complex system interfaces and creative marketing design;
  • Passion for mentoring and conducting technical interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Launch new projects together with designers and artists;
  • Create original visual solutions for interfaces;
  • Assign tasks and review work of junior designers;
  • Contribute to design roadmap with Product Design Project Manager;
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual and marketing projects;
  • Work with Figma components and design systems;
  • Collaborate closely with developers and design team;
  • Conduct interviews for UI Designers and onboard new hires;
  • Take a hands-on role in critical situations.
