Software Developer

Ypera Insurance Co. Ltd, one of the leading companies in the insurance sector in Cyprus, with an emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction, is continuously growing and is seeking a capable and organized Software Developer to strengthen its IT team.

Responsibilities

v Work on projects related with one or more of the following:

v Develops and/or maintains software for the purposes of company's solutions

v Front-end / Back-end Development

v Web App development

v API Gateways Development

v Working with Reporting Tools

v Systems Integrations

v Windows services

v Be part and communicate with project teams

v Research and keep up to date with latest technologies, new tools, trends, and best practices and suggest ways of improvement to the IT Department manager

v Troubleshoot bug reports and applies fixes, able to read and review existing code, re-factor code and maintain coding standards and best practices. Should possess strong analytical skills and willingness to learn and work in new technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

v University degree in computer science or similar

v Good knowledge of .Net Framework, .Net Core, Angular (8 and above), Restful APIs, C#, HTML 5, CSS 3, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server & Databases

v Debugging, troubleshooting skills on web UI, frontend/backend, Web APIs and IIS Web server.

v Very good communication skills in both Greek and English verbal and written

v Be enthusiastic with new technologies

The following will be considered as an advantage

v Knowledge of PHP

v Microsoft Power BI

v Windows Services

v Crystal Reports

v Knowledge of other programming languages

v Previous working experience on any of the Skills & Qualifications mentioned above
