Senior Backend Developer

Amega is a growing fintech company seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (.NET) to work on the core backend services for our company's mobile application and CRM. Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications using C# and the .NET/ASP.NET Core ecosystem
• Collaborating closely with frontend developers, product owners, and stakeholders to translate project requirements into robust technical specifications and elegant solutions
• Writing clean, well-architected, and well-commented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards (SOLID, DRY, etc.)
• Implementing comprehensive unit tests and helping define effective test cases for QA engineers to cover E2E and integration scenarios
• Optimizing application performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high availability and scalability of all services
• Monitoring application performance metrics (e.g., response time, error rate, request rate) and collaborating with DevOps to ensure optimal observability and alerting
• Creating and maintaining internal knowledge base articles and operational documentation
• Actively participating in incident review and root cause analysis, identifying process issues, and planning preventive measures

Requirements:
Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong professional experience in C# development, specifically with ASP.NET Core or similar modern .NET frameworks
• Proven expertise in architecting and building RESTful APIs for high-load, production environments
• Non-negotiable requirement: Demonstrated ability to write robust unit tests and knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and designing resilient system architecture
• Proficiency in database design and advanced query optimization using SQL (or other relational database systems)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

*Highly Desired (Strong Pluses)*

• Practical knowledge of MetaTrader 5 (MT5), its architecture, data models, and trade execution flow
• Experience with the MT Web API for connecting and integrating external services with the trading platform
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, specifically Docker
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and experience integrating automated tests
• Proficiency in Microservices architecture (Clean architecture) and experience with GRPC WebSockets
• Prior working experience in a Forex brokerage or other Fintech company
• Knowledge of other backend languages or technologies (e.g., Python, , or Java)
• Nuget packages
• Knowledge of queueing systems
