About the Role

We are seeking a
Dealing & Risk Supervision Officer
to join our Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF), regulated by
CySEC
. This is a critical control function responsible for
monitoring market risk exposures, supervising trade flow, coordinating with liquidity providers, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor overall
    trading exposure, positions, and risk levels
    across all asset classes.
  • Supervise trading activity to ensure alignment with internal risk limits and CySEC regulations.
  • Liaise with
    liquidity providers (LPs)
    to ensure competitive pricing, execution quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyse trading patterns and report unusual activities to the Compliance and Risk Management teams.
  • Support the development and refinement of the company's
    risk policies, dealing procedures, and exposure controls
    .
  • Maintain dealing desk records and prepare periodic reports for internal audit, compliance, and CySEC reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the
    Risk, Compliance, and Operations
    teams to ensure smooth day-to-day dealing operations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements, market structure changes, and best practices in risk supervision.

Requirements

  • CySEC Advanced Certification – Mandatory (non-negotiable).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience
    in a dealing, risk, or market supervision role within a regulated brokerage, investment firm, or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of
    CFDs, FX, indices, commodities, and derivatives markets
    .
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5) and risk management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in
    aggregator platforms, liquidity routing, or bridge technology
    .
  • Working knowledge of
    MiFID II
    and
    CySEC reporting obligations
    .
  • Advanced Excel / data analysis skills.
