About the Company

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our Product team. This hybrid role will focus on driving business analysis across our SaaS platform while also contributing to product ownership activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process review, functional and technical specifications, and SaaS-based product development.

About the Role

This role will involve leading business analysis and product ownership activities to ensure the successful delivery of our SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth process reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Prepare detailed process flows, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.
  • Act as a Product Owner for SaaS solutions, prioritizing backlogs, defining user stories, and managing release plans.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and validate deliverables.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, SaaS technologies, and competitive products to provide insights that shape our roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, preferably within SaaS platforms.
  • Strong expertise in creating process maps, functional specs, and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in SaaS product environments.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
  • Understanding of API integrations and data workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of payment lifecycle (authorization, capture, settlement, refund, chargeback, reconciliation).
  • Understanding of payment orchestration platforms and multi-acquirer routing.
  • Knowledge of interchange fees, merchant discount rates, and acquirer fee structures.
  • Knowledge of tokenization, vaulting, PCI DSS compliance, and sensitive data handling.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in SaaS product environments.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
