Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Limassol Municipality. The Junior Accountant will handle daily accounting responsibilities including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits. The role also involves processing invoices, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will support month-end and year-end closing processes and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities:

Record accounting transactions accurately and on time.

Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash, and intercompany accounts.

Prepare and process bank payments daily.

Provide financial information and reports to external advisors as needed.

Handle Know Your Customer (KYC) processes with banks, payment providers, and other external parties.

Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Head of Finance.

Requirements:

'O' level in accounting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.

Proven experience using Xero accounting software.
