The successful candidate will be part of doValue's Internal Audit Team. The role is ideal for senior level professionals with a minimum of 5 years of auditing experience, preferably within the internal audit department of a regulated organization or a reputable Audit & Advisory Professional Service Firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess risks & controls as well as design audit programs to test the operational and business environment.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for enhancement, and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate risks and complex issues to management in an effective manner and increase acceptance both orally and in written form.
  • Analyze complex information effectively, evaluate different views to arrive at solutions, and know and anticipate stakeholder needs.
  • Prepare detailed audit findings and effectively communicate observations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality audit reports, including audit findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor and validate the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions to address audit issues.
  • Participate in the annual risk assessment process to support the development of a dynamic risk-based annual Audit Plan.
  • Build trust and maintain strong working relationships with management and business units.
  • Work independently under pressure while delivering high-quality results.
  • Provide constructive challenge and objective insights during audit engagements.
  • Knowledge of international internal audit standards and quality benchmarks governing internal audit practice.

Professional Requirements and Skills:

  • University degree and/or post graduate degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance or other related discipline.
  • Professional qualification (CIA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) or be in the process of qualifying or willing to pursue a professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent command of the Greek & English language.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Other relevant IT skills will be considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in audit fields related to NPL Management, AML, Risk Management, Corporate Governance and/ or ICT audits, is highly advantageous.
