We are currently searching for a high-calibre, career-driven individual to assume the role of Head of Internal Accounting Department.

In this role you would be required to handle the following core responsibilities:

  • Oversea one accounting assistant who works under you in the internal accounts departments.
  • Preparation of the Group's accounting records.
  • Preparation of management accounts and reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Handling of all tax and VAT statutory filings.
  • Monitoring/improving internal controls and processes.
  • Preparation and monitoring of annual budget and financial forecasts in a consolidated form.
  • Maintain and monitor cash flow and cost management procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Compliance with statutory submissions and returns.
  • Liaising with third parties, external auditors, vendors, clients, bankers.
  • Assisting Managing Director with ad hoc projects.

About you:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of prior experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT;
  • Qualified accountant (i.e. CPA, ACA, ACCA) will be considered as an advantage;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word, and Excel;
  • Fluency in Greek & English;
  • Excellent communication skills and to be able to be part of a team;
  • Can work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

An attractive remuneration package will be awarded to the successful candidate (fixed salary between

EUR 26,000 to EUR 35,000, depending on experience/qualification, plus a performance-based bonus).
