Our
AML Compliance Team
is expanding and seeking to recruit motivated and experienced staff, for our offices in Nicosia as for the following positions:

Position: Associate

Main duties and responsibilities:

-Responsible for an assigned client portfolio regarding:

• Client onboarding / KYC procedure
• Ongoing client reviews and maintenance of client electronic and hard copy records
• Ongoing transaction monitoring based on the applicable transaction monitoring limits, as amended from time to time
• Handles day-to-day requests from the Client Relationship Teams and / or departments that require compliance approvals or notification or overall guidance and support
• Performs ongoing client and counterparties background checks (screening)
• Data entry in specific modules of the AML software

-Performs Enhanced Due Diligence reviews, as applicable, for an assigned client list

-Assists and / or maintains departmental registers

-Assists with the reporting obligations of the department

-Other departmental or firm-wide duties as assigned from time to time by the AMLCO and / or the responsible Senior Manager

Qualifications/Skills:

-University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or other related field

-Solid experience with AML in a regulated organisation (preferably Administrative Services Provider) of 3-5 years

-Good understanding of the financial services industry and practices

-Very good knowledge of the applicable Anti-Money Laundering and pertinent legal framework

-Very good knowledge of Sanctions and Restrictive Measures

-Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both oral and written

-Good level of proficiency with MS Office applications

-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

-Organised, diligent, critical thinking and able to pay attention to detail

-Respond to queries on a timely manner

Position: Assistant

Main duties and responsibilities:

-Preparation of Internal KYC Check Lists

-Data entry in Client Economic Profiles, update of Client structures, preparation of relevant workings and gathering of supporting documentation

-Administers compliance records to include naming and saving in our Document Management System

-Performs ongoing background checks on clients and counterparties

Monitors and maintains reports for documents due to expire and liaises internally to obtain updated ones

-Maintains internal registers and keeps minutes of internal meetings

-Other departmental or firm-wide duties as assigned from time to time by the AMLCO and / or the responsible Senior Manager

Qualifications/Skills:

-University level education or Diploma

-Experience with AML and / or corporate administration services in a regulated organisation (preferably Administrative Services Provider) of 3-5 years

-Good understanding of the financial services industry and practices

-Good knowledge of the applicable Anti-Money Laundering and pertinent legal framework

-Good knowledge of Sanctions and Restrictive Measures
