Role Overview:
We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed
Senior AI Software Engineer
to join our dynamic team at HFM.

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will play a key role in embedding AI into our IT and development processes, driving automation, and increasing efficiency across the organization

Your role at HFM:

  • Analyse workflows within IT and other departments to pinpoint areas where AI can significantly improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop AI-powered solutions that streamline operations, increase speed, and minimise complexity across the company.
  • Implement AI-driven tools to optimise IT operations and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), improving automation and performance.
  • Advocate for AI adoption by educating teams, sharing best practices, and demonstrating the benefits of AI-powered solutions.
  • Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, evaluating and recommending AI-driven tools that can enhance enterprise operations.
  • Mentor IT staff and junior engineers, helping them explore and apply AI solutions within their domains.

Requirements

  • BA/BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer or AI Software Developer, with a focus on automation, productivity, and AI-powered tools.
  • Hands-on experience implementing machine learning models, LLMs, or generative AI in real-world business use cases.
  • Strong Python programming skills, with experience in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, or OpenAI/Gemini APIs.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and IT automation, including experience integrating AI models with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, or workflow optimisation.
  • Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI models).
  • Experience working with REST APIs and AI-driven microservices to automate processes.
  • Strong research ability to evaluate and implement cutting-edge AI solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate AI concepts in simple, actionable terms.
  • Experience with cloud AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI) is a plus.
