The ideal candidate must have >7 years of experience in software development and architecture design, particularly in multi-tier/layer architectures and play a key role in innovative R&D projects, ensuring solutions align with project business and technical requirements. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into a detailed logical architecture, ensuring alignment with the project's conceptual framework, designing the integration strategy, defining the implementation methodology and overseeing deployment. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary European teams on large-scale EU-funded R&D projects, contributing to impactful technological innovations that address complex societal, environmental and industrial challenges.Key Responsibilities:·Lead innovative system architecture design by translating business requirements into a detailed logical architecture, ensuring alignment with the project's conceptual framework, objectives and technical constraints.· Lead systems integration, infrastructure design, and cloud-based solutions that are scalable and suitable for research applications and push the boundaries of technological innovation.·  Work closely with cross-functional teams (academic, industrial, and governmental partners) across Europe, ensuring smooth coordination, communication, and collaboration across borders, to drive the successful execution of R&D project goals.·  Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms based on project requirements.·  Support preparing technical documentation, reports, and deliverables required by EU funding agencies.·  Provide guidance to the software development team during the implementation phase.· Maintain alignment with the broader technical vision of EU-funded projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Qualifications:· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
