Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Bank in the role of Technical Process Owner to manage and support our Business Automation Workflow processes. This role ensures the successful delivery of new functionality as part of the implementation project team and the support and maintenance of existing functionality. Additionally, the role will ensure functional integrity, scalability, and maintainability of these processes, while driving best practices and preparing for future enhancements.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into process specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to design and document the technical solution.
• Participate in delivery planning sessions, understand interdependencies between solution components and be able to provide effort estimations for the implementation of the required solution.
• Prepare and/or review specification documents, ensuring technical designs adhere to best practices, design guidelines and leverage reusable components.
• Maintain the backlog and participate in backlog planning sessions, defining priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Investigate technical issues and identify root causes, including troubleshooting incidents and integrations with external systems.
• Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support testing activities (SIT/UAT) and validate functional deliverables.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and propose improvements for process automation.
• Assist with housekeeping activities that ensure platform healthiness and reliability.

Candidate Profile

• Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science and/or related field
• At least 2 years of previous experience working with workflow solutions or other enterprise-wide solutions
• Ability to understand and analyse business needs and translate them to a technical process flow
• Experience in preparing and/or reviewing functional specification documents
• Experience with RestFul APIs and other integration technologies/approaches
• Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting technical incidents/issues
• Knowledge of Linux-based Operating Systems (RedHat, AIX) will be considered as advantage
• Experience in the financial sector will be considered as advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong collaboration skills with business stakeholders and vendors
• Attention to detail in reviewing process designs and functional deliverables
• Strategic thinking to align process improvements with business objectives
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong commitment to security principles and adherence to regulatory requirements
• Fluency in Greek and English
