Chief Procurement Officer

.

Responsible for overseeing annual procurement agreements and strategic sourcing activities across both the Hotels and Construction divisions. This role ensures effective supplier relationship management (SRM) while managing the supply chain and inbound logistics to support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include optimising inventory costs and reducing waste, maintaining accurate procurement systems and databases, and ensuring all product codes, barcodes, and pricing information are up to date. The Chief Procurement Officer also conducts data analysis and enforces demand forecasting to safeguard product quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness, while improving inventory turnover.

Role Description

This role ensures adherence to risk management, compliance, and governance standards and integrates sustainability and ESG principles into sourcing practices. They are accountable for formalising policies, procedures, and delegations of authority (DoA) to ensure consistency and control. The Chief Procurement Officer also focuses on building team capabilities through leadership, training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and audits. They implement and monitor disciplined KPIs and performance reporting to drive continuous improvement across the procurement function..

Qualifications

  • Contract Negotiation and Contract Management
    skills
  • Experience in Hospitality, or Retail, or Logistics and/or Construction Industry is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • 3+ years of C-suite leadership experience in procurement or supply chain, or 8+ years of managerial experience in procurement leadership in Construction, Retail or Hospitality
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • EU passport holders
