Sous Chef

Role Overview

As our Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Chef to lead kitchen operations, inspire the culinary team, and uphold the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity. You will play a key role in menu execution, staff development, and maintaining our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Chef in daily kitchen management and menu execution
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff across all stations
  • Ensure consistent culinary standards and flawless presentation
  • Manage food preparation, service coordination, and pass control
  • Assist in menu planning, seasonal concepts, and creative development
  • Monitor inventory, place orders, and oversee stock rotation
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety standards
  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely service during peak hours
  • Contribute to cost control and kitchen efficiency
  • Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Chef

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or fine-dining establishment
  • Strong knowledge of modern techniques, fresh produce, and premium raw seafood & meat
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to inspire, teach, and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • High discipline, attention to detail, and passion for culinary excellence
  • Ability to perform under pressure and maintain consistency at all times
  • Creativity and curiosity for new culinary ideas and trends
