Why this role matters
The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. You will join our Security Team and be responsible for overseeing operational security tasks and managing security personnel. You will supervise daily operations, support incident response, and maintain high security standards. Your role is vital in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our employees, guests, and company assets.
You will also handle emergency incident response, including implementing emergency procedures, performing initial checks, and responding to alarms. Additionally, you will support the Internal Security Department in executing security measures effectively across the organization.
What you'll actually do
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of security personnel to ensure the safety of employees, guests, and assets
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits, recommending improvements and additional security measures as needed
- Establish and manage protocols for responding to emergencies, such as security breaches, medical incidents, or natural disasters
- Conduct security patrols and monitor surveillance systems
- Respond promptly and appropriately to safety or emergency situations
- Train and guide team members in safety procedures, emergency preparedness, and loss prevention practices
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and authorities as necessary
- Investigate incidents, ensure proper documentation, and follow up on required actions
- Maintain strong working relationships with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a positive work environment
- Plan and oversee security arrangements for executives and corporate events
- Monitor and assess ongoing security situations and potential risks
- Prepare detailed reports, provide recommendations, and advise internal teams on safety matters
- Support internal investigations by providing reports and necessary documentation
- Complete all incident reports and required documentation for security incidents, including weekly and regular reports as prescribed
- Perform additional security field duties as requested by the line manager or company management
Who we're looking for
- Security Guard license
- 5+ years of experience in physical security, ideally in corporate or hospitality sectors
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Strong work ethic
- Physical fitness and stamina for extended standing and walking
- Valid driver's license
- Fluent in Greek and English
Nice to have:
- Experience in event protection, mobile patrol, or VIP escort
- Certification in personal protection, crisis management, or related security certifications
- First Aid or emergency response training
